Q. How do I find the correct battery or ac adapter I need?
A. The easiest way would be to enter the part number of your old battery or adapter or your laptop's model number in the search box. You will be presented with compatible replacements.

Q. How do I know if my order went through?
A. Once you confirm the order at the end of the checkout process, you will will receive an order confirmation page with your confirmation number. You will also receive a confirmation email from us immediately following the order.

Q. Is my order secure on this site?
A. Yes. Our website uses 256-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. The servers are behind firewall protection. During the ordering process, all data move along the Internet in encrypted form and are decoded when they reach us.

Q. Can I place an order by telephone?
A. Yes. You can call us at 817-310-0661, or toll free 888-300-3119. Our operators are on standby Mon-Fri 9am-5pm CST.

Q. How do I know if a product is in stock?
A.You can find if a product in available by looking below the Add to Cart button on the product's page. It will state whether the item is In Stock, Out of Stock, or On Backorder.

Q. How long does it take for shipment?
A. Orders placed by 3PM CST Mon-Fri will ship same day. Otherwise, your order will ship the following business day. Orders placed on Friday after 3PM CST will ship the following Monday.

Q. How can I cancel my order?
A. Please call or email us immediately if you need to cancel an order. Once an order has been shipped, we cannot cancel it. But you can still return the product for a refund.

Q. Do you accept purchase orders?
A. Unfortunately, we do not accept PO's. Our order fulfillment process is fully automated for efficiency and to provide the best possible prices so payment needs to be taken at the point of order.

Q. Do you offer volume discounts?
A. No. The advertised price is our no-haggle guaranteed lowest price. Whether you buy 1 or 100, it is still the same price.

Q. What payment options do I have?
A. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Paypal, and Google Checkout

Q. Do you charge sales tax?
A. We only charge an 8.25% sales tax for orders shipped within Texas. If your organization is tax exempt, please fax or email us your Texas Sales Tax Resale or Exemption Certificate Form 01-339. We will credit the sales tax if your order has already been placed. We can also assign tax exemption for your registered BatteryNerds.com account.

Q. Is my credit card safe if I shop at BatteryNerds.com?
A. Absolutely! Our website ensures a very high level of security for your online purchases. We utilize, not only 128 bit, but 256 bit secure encryption software, SSL (Secure Socket Layer), in our checkout process. This means that all your personal information, including credit card information and other confidential information, are transmitted over the Internet in encrypted form and are decoded only after they have reached us. We are also PCI Compliant when it comes to handling credit cards.

Shipping FAQs

Q. What shipping methods do you offer?
A. We use the reliable services of FedEx for most shipments. Sometimes USPS mail and UPS is used depending on the destination. Ground will take an average of 3-5 business days for delivery. FedEx 2-Day (2 Business Days) will be delivered in 2 business days, while FedEx Standard Overnight (Next Business Day) will be delivered the next business day.

Q. Do you offer overnight shipping?
A. Yes. Please choose Next Day, and it will be shipped via FedEx Standard Overnight. It will be delivered the next business day. If you need to have it delivered on a Saturday, please phone in your order instead. There is a surcharge for Saturday Delivery.

Q. What are the locations you ship to?
A. We ship to all U.S. locations including APO, FPO addresses and U.S. Territories such as Guam and Virgin Islands. We do not offer shipping outside of the U.S.

Q. How do I know if my order has shipped?
A. As soon as your order is shipped, we will send you a shipment confirmation email with the tracking number. You can also check the status of your order online by entering your confirmation number.

Q. How do I track my shipment?
A. You can check the progress of your shipment by entering the tracking information on the FedEx website (www.fedex.com).

Q. What happens when an item is back-ordered?
A. When an item is not available for immediate shipment and gets back-ordered, we'll inform you immediately of the estimated date of availability via e-mail or by phone. We will send you the available items first and keep the remaining order on a "back-order" status. The back-ordered item is shipped as soon as it becomes available or if you decide to cancel it.

Q. Can I return or exchange an item?
A. Yes. Please review our Return Policy to review the guidelines about returns and exchanges.

Q. Can I get a refund?
A. We do offer a refund within 30 days of purchase. After the initial 30 days of purchase, we offer replacements, but no refunds, for defective products up to 12 months from original purchase.

Q. How do I request a return?
A. Easiest way would be to use our online RMA form. You can also call us during business hours to request a Return Authorization.
